Loosies™ Prescription Vials; part of our Guerilla/ Street Campaign
Category: Propaganda / Paraphernalia / Prescription
Drug Packaging / Novelty The Prescription Vial itself reads our Loosies™ Logo, our, primary slogan: “A misspent youth.” Our secondary slogan: “Your Fix of Nostalgia.” and brief segment of our credo.
The vials have auxiliary labels on their side, which read, actual, prescription instructions/ warnings, but are meant as puns with literal meanings, if you read into the wordplay. They, also, contain crayons—cut down to the size of pills. The pills, themselves, have a label, which is made to mimic, both, the auxiliary labels, on the vials, with our own slogans/ bits of our credo—along with quasi-logos to represent them, and, the material of a typical crayon label; as to combine both worlds. We like this piece, because it addresses both sides of the drug spectrum. One being illegal drugs, or narcotics—representing vices, and the other, being medicine, and drugs that are intended to heal, or do good—and, also, how medicine can be abused to the point of it becoming another vice, itself. The message behind the Prescription Vial Campaign is that, Nostalgia should be your fix, and your medicine, and, the fix for your “medicine”/ the medicine to your fix. These will be placed, and scattered, randomly, in the streets, and will, mostly, be found in unsuspecting places.
